Yes...it's a trick question. I read it once in a novel. I can't take credit for the idea, but I like the exchange...I'm paraphrasing from memory...
"Do you love making money?"
"Why yes...doesn't everyone?"
"No. And I don't think you do either. I think you love having money. I think you love spending money. But I don't think you love MAKING money."
The protaganist goes on to explain that there are really only a few people in this world who genuinely love making money. They love doing what it takes to make money. Making money is a game for them and it's a game they love.
Donald Trump is an excellent example of this type of person. Trump LOVES making money. He loves playing the game. He loves doing the things required to make money.
Now then, while it is true that it takes a special personality to look at money this way, there is something we can do even if we don't have that personality that drives us to make money. What we can do, and should do, is find something that we genuinely love to do for a living...and then be the absolute best we can at it.

Trading stocks is a great way to make money, but again, if you don't love it...you won't make a lot of money at it...and will probably lose a great deal.
